RANTED on; 11:24 PM

i realised this blog is kind of stagnant this year.. haha maybe we're just getting lazy or maybe we're just too damn busy to blog!

3 months of school holidays is coming to an end and it just didnt felt much like a holiday to me because of work which started like on 12th May and is ending on 1st august.. so technically, my school holiday is just 2 weeks. 6 days after exam and 1 wk after work ends. (with the exception of arts camp la)

met up with alot of friends these 3 months actually. People from scgs, cjc, nus, judo peeps and even made new friends from arts camp, colleagues and err my friends who keep hermit crabs.

This hols has been packed with LOTS of activities that i just cant blog about everything and partly because i'm lazy..

Everyweek is filled with work and then go out to meet up with friends.. work and try to spend time with parents at home.. work and meet again.. it keeps alternating with family and friends so much so that it is very exhausting. Feels great to know i have a life outside work and friends who i manage to keep in contact with, but this time, life just seems more complicated.

At the beginning of the year, it was said that those born in the Rabbit year would have a rough time this year. Personally, i do not believe in this kind of thing as we can control our lives, but lately, hearing all the personal problems of my friends, my friend's friends just keeps reminding me of the "prediction" made this yr.

All in all, there are so many changes this holidays that i feel a bit out of sorts now but i think its just part of growing up. EEW!

anyway, to show u guys some pictures of my obsession for the past 7 months or so!! i think those who know i keep them are pretty sick of me talking abt them but here goes!!! :)

Meet 7-Up the first Coenobita Rugosus (ruggies) I bought along with...
Coda!

This is Flash who i recently found out is a female so maybe i should change her name.. haha
Flash was bought together with Turk! (above) These 2 are the smallest ruggies i have now :)
and then we have Cherry Toe. It belongs to the species Coenobita Perlatus. (Strawberry or Straw for short) They are called Strawberrys because of their colour which obviously is like a strawberry! They are very rare and found in australia and along the pacific region. It is endangered in australia but is still commonly found in Indonesia. erm.. not allowed in singapore.. but ya.. who, but pple who likes crabs, can tell the diff between the species of hermit crabs. i bet hermit crabs are just hermit crabs to most.
This is Boss R. another C. Perlatus that i bought to accompany Cherry Toe.
My latest addition is Maui (female; above) and Mauve (male; below). These 2 belong to the species Coenobita brevimanus. They are commonly found in Indonesia and around the region. They have perfectly round eyes and have the largest pincer relative to their body size. This is also not allowed in Singapore. but yes again, who can tell?
Mauve is more shy but Maui is protective over him. haha so wierd right. anyway, the 2 are always seen together :) V. cute :)
and the above is where 7-Up, Coda, Flash, Turk, Cherry Toe and Boss R. stays.. Maui and Mauve stay in another tank because the above tank is too small to accomodate another 2 smallish-medium crabs.. but then, i cant wait to get a 3 FT tank!!! MUAHAHAHAHA!!!! :D

so there you go, my new obsessions :D:D:D

and then there is a bear the 3 of us got for Han who just left on wednesday to aussie for studies!! She is named Hanny. pronounced H-ah-n-ni. at her desk, diligently looking for flights to perth...
"oh no, I need to book my flight by by by... NOW!!!"

oh well, she was made to accompany han in aussie! :D
