SOME people just don't get it.
It has been told over and over again RIGHT in their face but do they change?
NOOOOOOO!!!
honestly, i've never felt so disgusted in my life about someone.
and the worst part is, its not even done to me.

finally, tutorials settled and the week is beginning to look up. this week is a really bad week. monday was filled with traffic problems, txtbook problems and just plain grouchiness.
tuesday was miserable coz i had woke up with a really bad cold and i had MORE txtbk problems being a gong that i was.
Wednesday was a problem solving day thanks god.
today(ok yesterday:read thursday) is the best day of the week so far. we met xiaomi for lunch and movie and just chatted. feels good :) haha and all 3 of us were wearing black! damn we didnt take a photo. ah wells nxt time. hehe :D
27 dresses is hilarious and really funny; too bad we had to pay $8 for the tix since its the opening day.
my hermit crabs keep burrowing themselves and i think it has got to do with the tank size and the lack of heat at night. anyway, they are most interesting and definitely a lot more harder to care for. its really challenging and i'm pretty sure elaine is sick of hearing "hermit crabs". so if i ramble on too much, just ask me shut up :)

anyway, my aircon is fixed. my txtbk problem solved. my internet is fixed. my crabs are giving me problems. my nose is getting better. and my timetable is a 3-day week.bikequest nxt sat! things are definitely looking up. i hope it stays that way! :)

********edit*********
ooo did i mention friday? i woke up, rolled onto my side on the bed, opened my eyes and saw something crawling on the floor under my table. i wore my glasses and my first words were,"what the hell".
my teeniest hermit crab was taking a morning walk on my bedroom floor.

haha the first time we went exploring in the so called "new" sentosa although its still in progress! the last pic on the right bottom is the view of mainland singapore from
imbiah lookout.
(sry xiaomi, i had to put purple coz the printed imbiah lookout in purple at sentosa!)

WE LOVE OURSELVES!!! haha 自恋!
hoohoo can't believe i wore a bikini!

i love the the mosaic dragon tho i cld never find the head or tail.

haha we had to ask a local tour guide who was leading a pack of hongkongers to help us take a photo of the merlion and us!!! haha can't help it, we were being tourist to our own country that day.

i know we look really pale here but we were super sun burnt after that and my skin is still suffering from tingles. hah!

*****edit as of 12.50am 14/1/08***

just read an email from my cousin and its quite accurate.

Message from George Carlin:
The paradox of our time in history is that we have taller buildings but shorter tempers, wider freeways, but narrower viewpoints.
We spend more, but have less, we buy more, but enjoy less.
We have bigger houses and smaller families, more conveniences, but less time.
We have more degrees but less sense, more knowledge, but less judgment, more experts, yet more problems, more medicine, but less wellness.
We drink too much, smoke too much, spend too recklessly, laugh too little, drive too fast, get too angry, stay up too late, get up too tired, read too little, watch TV too much, and pray too seldom.

We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values.
We talk too much, love too seldom, and hate too often.
We've learned how to make a living, but not a life.
We've added years to life not life to years.
We've been all the way to the moon and back, but have trouble crossing the street to meet a new neighbour.

We conquered outer space but not inner space.
We've done larger things, but not better things.
We've cleaned up the air, but polluted the soul.
We've conquered the atom, but not our prejudice.
We write more, but learn less.
We plan more, but accomplish less.
We've learned to rush, but not to wait.
We build more computers to hold more information, to produce more copies than ever, but we communicate less and less.

These are the times of fast foods and slow digestion, big men and small character, steep profits and shallow relationships.
These are the days of two incomes but more divorce, fancier houses, but broken homes.
These are days of quick trips, disposable diapers, throwaway morality, one night stands, overweight bodies, and pills that do everything from cheer, to quiet, to kill.
It is a time when there is much in the showroom window and nothing in the stockroom.

Remember: spend some time with your loved ones, because they are not going to be around forever.
Remember, say a kind word to someone who looks up to you in awe, because that little person soon will grow up and leave your side.
Remember, to give a warm hug to the one next to you, because that is the only treasure you can give with your heart and it doesn't cost a cent.
Remember, to say, 'I love you' to your partner and your loved ones, but most of all mean it.

A kiss and an embrace will mend hurt when it comes from deep inside of you.
Remember to hold hands and cherish the moment for someday that person will not be there again.
Give time to love, give time to speak!
And give time to share the precious thoughts in your mind.
AND ALWAYS REMEMBER:
Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.

My very 1st post of 2008!

School has been very busy since it started last Wednesday. this week i have to do 2 project presentations and the lecturers are quite nitty pricky. oh wells...with all the work that my frens and i have put in, hope we will get a B at least..nothing lesser than that!!!!
Got a scare of my life today! Today is elective day and this week and next week is our Malay oral test. I was very confident that mine was in the next week so i have NOT touch anything that is/ was/ has related to malay( malay food counted???hahah). i was walking halfway out of a school when one of my fren called and say the malay teachers might want to get the oral test over and done with in aday. Panic bells rang man, so its was a mad dash to the North canteen to meet my frens and cramp whatever malay we could talk... The results were super hilarious, we were stumbling over our word and everything..buah dada, buah zakar(hehe...if u know malay u know wat they mean...no dirty minds k..i am in healthcare industry mahs.) Anyways...ended up i was to take the test next week... WASTE OF MY Time in school kay!!!aiyo....but it was quite fun la actually...

2007 is gone and will be a year i'll not forget. Many things have changed in the past year and i think i grew the most within the span of this past year. New friends are made and older friendships are strengthened.

i am glad i have not lost all the friendships i've made in SCGS and i have liming, cherylyn, nicola, cassandra, chrystella and charlene to thank for. Though i may not be the closest of friends with you guys, its good to know that i've not lost all contacts with people i've known in SCGS.

U know how sometimes u go through school and u never talk to certain people or at least not even have a proper conversation with in your entire stint in school? its funny how events bring people together and u only get to know these people outside school. I've gotten to know kaiwei and cherie better only after arts camp in uni even when the 3 of us were from the same sec sch.Its fun meeting them around uni coz they're just always full of energy with their "HI SHARONNNNN". thanks guys for making school seem a lil more mad.

and then came my Jc mates.winnie, huiwen, chris, jieying, leonard, terence. i know i'm pretty anti-social and am not very close to my class but its great to know that we can still meet up as a group 1 or 2 times this yr and just listen to your conversations. :) Judo was once a very big part of my life, esp during Jc days. Its sad that we do not meet up very often now esp this yr, but i hope 2008 will bring us more meetings. on
a brighter note, i'm glad shufang, xiaomi and elaine still make up a good part of my life. :)

University brought about many friends i would have never thought i could make. I always thought university was a lonely place and friendship would be hard to make considering the different subjects that people would take. On top of that, lectures are just too huge and tutorials too short and little. thanks to arts camp, i've found a very close bunch of friends in uni. Huishi, Ritchell, Joy & Elaine(i've no idea where to place her). Its been great knowing you guys with all the fun and laughter, hardwork and sadness that we've been through together. i thank arts camp for making us even closer than before and this last semester has been precious to me :) i hope our friendship never ends.

There are way too many new friends made during arts camp especially this year. There is the whole lots of monkeys in Raiko who can chat non-stop and i've never seen such a bunch of chatty monkeys in my whole life at all. They can go on and on and on and on and on and on... endless! Reizins, my freshies, even tho i'm not close to any of u (which i regret alot), i'm glad u've found friends of your own in this OG. its a comforting thought to me that i've not bungled the whole oweek for you guys. :) ah yes... my ever-helpful and thoughtful AOGL, honghui. i'm glad u were there when i needed u during owk and even after owk. :) There are many other friends i've made during camp and i'm glad i did. If it werent for them, i think school would not be as interesting! Chonghan, Cheryl, Alicia, Julie, Bingde, Titus, Khercheng, and many many more whom i just cant finish typing out.

and lastly, to my 4 years of friendship with elaine and michelle. i don't think i would be the same person without u guys. Every year with you guys is important and something i'll never be able to live without. Thanks for being there for me whenever i needed u guys. u guys were always a phonecall or msg away. i just hope i was just a good a friend to you guys like u were to me. thanks for your friendship. :)

Next up: Revenge of the nerds as well as what i've been up to the last few days.

PS: HAPPY 2008 PEEPS!!!
