this is jack! (name derived frm term one eye jack ) we cant figure out how he lost his eye. but being one of e 2 male fishies in a tank of 6 goldfish, he successfully made e female ones lay eggs on e 5th day they were put in. not very handicapped afterall. HAHA.


okay i admit. working w huishi is fun. coz she does so many silly n crazy things tt i cant help but laugh. i think we looked like 2 siao ting tongs in e kiosk. hope we din scare any customers away :Pp

aniwaes..i went for xmas eve dinner with dengue at TCC (Circular Road). Highly recommended plc to simply chill out. Ambience was good,nice music,nice beanbags:)( it could do with lesser lightings though)~HAha..i like dark n cosy..HAha..we almost couldnt make it there cos we din noe where exactly was TCC..i was going to give up and settle for the next resturant that was along the way but derek wouldnt hear of it. There i was walking in 3 inch and we were going up n down circular road n upper circular road but it did not occur to us to go to the END of circlar rd

Haha..anyways after the delicious salmon meal we had, we simply just laze ard in there..the beanbags were so comfy i almost fell aslp=p
After dinner we met up with some friends and went to Loof at Odeon Towers. Nice drinking plc except the price for a bottle rather pricy..210 for one. The plc is on top of the roof of Odeon Towers and overlooks raffles City..in a way it kinda overlooks cos it isnt very tall..only 3rd storey. more chilling out n toking n drinking. It was kinda funny cos our group had 3 couples (Francis n huijun, Yiliang n Doreen, Derek n me) and Daniel who was feeling rather lonely cos his gf cant come out. Huijun was the "firewall" cos she din let Francis drink n Dorren was the"anti-virus software". After that we went to MOS and boogied the night away(Yiliang n doreen din go). Our virgin trips to MOS. verdict- the music's all right, plc crowded, quite ok to go lah..HAha..

i had a great time on my birthday on the 18th!!! wahaha.. and i got a tshirt from 8 different people which makes up 3 groups.. wahaha.. elaine, huishi, xiaomi, joy, ritchell, huishan, shufang and winnie!! thanks guys!! i LOVE the t shirt!! :D:D and hejia gave me a pair of GIMONGOUS strawberry slippers.. wahaha.. got another t shirt from my cuzzie when she came to singapore and bought for me.. thanks elaine(cousin's name also elaine *tsk tsk, such a common name*)!!!!!

and i must say a very big SORRY to huishi!!! don't ask why.seriously.

i was having probs uploading my pics so only managed to blog today. this past wk has been fairly xciting :) i had classgirls kbox+family chalet+gathering w my dear sqmates. n sharon n huishi came to visit me at e chalet! thank goodness coz i was dying of BOREDOM there. (even w e hongkong series n my novel haha)

winnie chris sandie sharon n me went to kbox on monday! too bad hwee n xiaomi couldnt make it. it was hilarious. hahaha. good to see everyone after such a long time :)

i went to help out at DEAF-initely Boleh today! it was much more fun than i expected haha. although i had to sit there for hours and man e booth (mostly by myself coz my boss was out socializing most of e time) i thought it was a pretty fulfilling day. n i learnt alot frm chatting to my boss n frm listening to her talk to other clients :)

this is one part of society which ive nv had much encounter w. it sure OPENed my eyess. had to explain e workings of e gadgets to so many pp today! n bcoz its an event to create awareness abt e hearing-impaired community in spore, there were many deaf/hard-of-hearing pp present. totally unable to communicate w them! i felt like i was e one tt was handicapped n not them. its amazing how they communicate to each other thru sign language (n they sign reeeaally fast!) i made do w simple improvised signs hahaha. they were v nice n understanding abt it though! :)

manymany heartwarming incidences today :)
i met..
1. filial sons n daughters who wanted to help their parents out of isolation n frm giving up on themselves due to their inability to hear n communicate as they used to.
2. worried parents who have hearing-impaired children n want to do whatever they can to make their child feel better ard pp n to accept n deal w their own conditions.
3. loving couples made up of one hearing-impaired n one w perfect hearing, still being able to get along perfectly well n to tease n joke ard like normal couples.

sometimes i wonder wat we ordinary fortunate pp are always complaining abt when we are blessed w good health to enjoy e music+colour+simplejoys of life. many of e handicapped pp i encountered today seem more cheerful n happier than us. tts wat life is abt isnt it? to learn to accept e hard facts of life, embrace urself as who u r n to live life to e fullest :)

i've got super red cheeks now!!! hehe.. at least i look so much more healthy now but apparently my parents doesn't think so.. saddening oh wells.. :D

on sunday, i went back for judo with elaine and xiaomi!!! haha and i only played like 2 bouts of fighting.. wahaha.. and both, i trashed them.. well not really.. at least i won!! hehe.. quite embarassing if they won though.. (^_^) and after that we went to breeko at holland village to eat our dinner!! oh damn nice... but my $$ flew away again.. hehe.. what pigs we are! :D

today, we went to the zooooooooooo to celebrate huishi's birthday and we were super bouncy on our feet!! hehe.. too bad huishi hasn't sent me the pictures yet.. heeeeeeeee if not i sure blog abt it... so blame huishi.. hehehehehehehehehehe
