today i realised one thing i truly love to do w my family. cook! amazingly everyone in my family can cook (n i dont just mean maggi mee hahaa) cooking with my grandparents n parents all in the same kitchen is always an experience. my grandpa always tries to teach me what to do n ends up doing it himself while trying to demonstrate e correct way to do it (he often doesnt realise hes taking over) n my grandma complains about every step my grandpa does (they have different ways of cooking e same dish). me n my dad will be laughing at how they always complain abt each other in front of us. it's really quite entertaining (: n my grandma n my mum are really starting to resemble each other (they bought e exact same ingredients for soup 2 weeks consecutively. no-synchronization involved) n my dad starting to take after my grandpa (he takes over unknowingly sometimes too hahaa) anyway what i really wanted to say today is: my thai chilli was a success!!!! it rocks okay i spent one hour chopping all e ingredients n squeezing all tt lime. my fingers were burning after tt frm all e chilli padi. my grandparents n dad were busying preparing everything else for dinner n complaining tt i was taking up so much space n time for my small saucer of chilli sauce. n i had to stop my grandpa frm taking over. heee (:
