woohoo! attachment is over! 3 sweet weeks of holidays...which i am not sure what i am going to do with it but who cares!!!!! looking forward to my cruise this coming wed! i hope it will be fun n memorable=)
hmm..wat did i do for the past 3 wks..went to 1 week of attchment at hougan polyclinic. the polyclinics are like providing services to the masses..very down to earth..lol.. enjoyed myself there. lots of baby watching AND crying. Hospital attchment gave me a glimipse if reality of life. i was attached to the oncology ward in SGH which is the cancer ward. Patients on palliative care (its like caring for them on their last journey), the pain they go through, the sombre mood in the ward and of their relatives..its just so real. but anyway i was quite attached to one of my patient,"susan'. its like her nickname. the 1st day that i saw her she was unresponsive but ytd..she could simle at me when i start work. tt's was gratifying. i asked her how was her day and she told me it wasnt good cos she haven seen me yet...smiles! den i learnt some of the cheem cheem drugs which i am v sure i cannot rmb wat's their name alr. Oncology is such a specialised field.
attend lela's is wedding. 1st time attending malay wedding. its so different from chinese wedding. chinese wedding we normally give angbaos 1st den proceed for dinner rite. MAlays is that we have to eat FIRST den only can we give the angbaos. its sort of thy have to extend their hospitality to us 1st tjose kind..hmm...v big diff huh..lol..
met up wth bernice too...went to watch the spiderwick chronicles. we both thought it was gg to be a lame show. but hey it was quite exciting. lol...took lots of hp picts.yups.
