woohoo! attachment is over! 3 sweet weeks of holidays...which i am not sure what i am going to do with it but who cares!!!!! looking forward to my cruise this coming wed! i hope it will be fun n memorable=)

hmm..wat did i do for the past 3 wks..went to 1 week of attchment at hougan polyclinic. the polyclinics are like providing services to the masses..very down to earth..lol.. enjoyed myself there. lots of baby watching AND crying. Hospital attchment gave me a glimipse if reality of life. i was attached to the oncology ward in SGH which is the cancer ward. Patients on palliative care (its like caring for them on their last journey), the pain they go through, the sombre mood in the ward and of their relatives..its just so real. but anyway i was quite attached to one of my patient,"susan'. its like her nickname. the 1st day that i saw her she was unresponsive but ytd..she could simle at me when i start work. tt's was gratifying. i asked her how was her day and she told me it wasnt good cos she haven seen me yet...smiles! den i learnt some of the cheem cheem drugs which i am v sure i cannot rmb wat's their name alr. Oncology is such a specialised field.

attend lela's is wedding. 1st time attending malay wedding. its so different from chinese wedding. chinese wedding we normally give angbaos 1st den proceed for dinner rite. MAlays is that we have to eat FIRST den only can we give the angbaos. its sort of thy have to extend their hospitality to us 1st tjose kind..hmm...v big diff huh..lol..

met up wth bernice too...went to watch the spiderwick chronicles. we both thought it was gg to be a lame show. but hey it was quite exciting. lol...took lots of hp picts.yups.

winnie's bdae is coming up!

FINALLY!!!! lets just say, i thought the worst was over but blogger got me pissed. sorryyyyyyyyyyyy :(

anyway, it was cherylyn's 21st birthday on 28th February 2008!!!! well, me and elaine were invited to her DAMN NICE HOUSE!!! they renovated the longest time but i just never did go to her house. anyway, birthday girl's theme was green and everybody had to wear a piece of green to her party and i wore earrings for a damn good reason. i had to go DXO after and i didn't have nice green tops or bottoms, so the tiny earrings. hahaha anyway,

here's the birthday girl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (above) so cute right!!! like how many years ago..

and now she became this!!! (above) [u're looking at the wrong one, its the one on the left, really.] the other one was my gift (and elaine's) to her. it makes a really nice fairylike tinkle.

her room is like the coolest room i've ever seen in my life. u step into her room and its a mess. nah just joking. anyway, the coolest part was the lime green cosy hole in her room as u can tell elaine is sitting on her chair in the nice cosy hole, looking like she's part of a framed up picture. and there is a TRAPDOOR to her brother's room! there's like a ladder to go down and all! like HOW COOL IS THAT LA!!!! hahahaha

ah yes, the only people we know: charlene, selina(new friend), sarah. and guess what we found in cherylyn's room???? hahaha yes, we found MR. RIGHT!!!!! anyway, HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHERYLYN!!!!! (erm, sry its late here?)

we had to leave early for khercheng's dancing performance at DXO. it was really crowded and full of dancers. we couldnt really see much but those that we saw were really cool moves. haha we took GREAT PAINS to watch khercheng dance la! people were standing on stools right, we HAD TO climb on the step footing of THEIR stools and tiptoe on our HEELS, balancing on the bar with our tired and flabby arms just to watch him dance. hahahahaha. oh wells, it was fun watching them and scrambling to find a place to watch the dancing. we took that picture on the esplanade roof top. so disappointing, no KCMM found. huhhhhh.

and then a few days later, we went for training on monday (3rd March 08) to celebrate renjun's birthday (4th march)! her birthday cake was so cute. i think its the cutest birthday cake i've everseen. happy birthday renjun! (albeit late here as well)

i never saw so many applications on facebook in one person's profile before. its like the longest i've ever saw!!!!! hahaha shant tell you who's this tho. papa wouldnt like it.

oh yes, i took this test the other day for like a 5 min break. yea well, doesn't the "well dressed" guy look gooddddd... haha i had to take patrick dempsey's photo along as well. it was just beside the test! HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

ok seriously, i'm screwed big time this sem. but for once, i actually felt really good after a paper. its the first time in my entire life, i've handed in a blank paper for my micro test and i feel GOOD! its like some perverse feeling that i shud not be feeling right now but i am. oh wells. anyway, sorry this came late but blogger was really irritating today and the last time. i hope this loadsssssssssssssssssssssssssss...

have you watch it yet? Leap years....sighz...singapore 1st ever romantic movie i think?? its real nice, alittle draggy in the middle but the superb love story makes up for it. definitely will apeal to those die hard romantics out there!!! well...watching the movie literally felt like watch/ reading a story so i thought it was a movie that appeal to me. there were a few classic scenes that i thought were reallly beautiful- 1st . Li-ann(wong li lin) and jeremy (ananda) lying on the roof top. 2nd-jeremy so silly-ly going to the middle of the road to show the O K signs on his palms. 3rd- the gorgeous way the li-ann looked when she and jeremy was going to er....make out...she looked so beautiful! and joan chen as the older li-ann was a stunner. you could really feel her presence whenever she came on the screen. yupz..in all...it's a love story that will tug you at your heart strings although i have not really heard of such in real life(duhzzzzz...its a STORY!) haha...

its my 3rd day of attachment at hougang polyclinic today. Gained alot of knowledge. hopefully they will stay with me. my 1st impression of going to the polyclinci was like-its all eye power and super BORING. at least this was what everyone was saying. its was so for the 1st day. felt like i didnt really gained much knowledge. luckily one of my lecturers came down and gave us a wake up call=p. there was quite alot to learn such as how to manage chronic illness like hypertension,diabetes,asthma etc. i cant claim to be an expert cos i tend to blank out at times anw=p but i still learn something. there is an increasing trend of Singaporeans getting such illness and these illness are really a hassle cos you will have to take extra care in managing your lifestyle and to take all the medication. therefore, it is really good to start from young to have a healthy lifestyle and diet. in the long run, it will be a lesser burden on your health, financial burden, family members!

one of my senior who is an advanced practiced nurse which is similar to a nurse practitioner gave a talk to us. these nurses are very much involved in the patient care, medication. they can give diagnose. the only difference between the former and latter is that the latter can write prescription-like a doctor. she is currently the only advanced practiced nurse in the national health cluster! so proud of her! well...i must start to plan of my future already....

kbox w e girls+hh!

yep we went kbox again! (: sharon wanted to be in this photo so i had to cut n paste her in (not v well done i know) but shes in nevertheless..! hahaa. we k_ed for a solid 6 hours last wed! i think its our longest record so far. too bad honghui had to leave early..(hh u always leave early!) anyway heres a really cool photo of hh. u can see him thru his fingers hahaaa.

SURPRISE choong eeeee ling was surprisingly early tt day...! i ran to catch e mrt coz i heard tt she was gg to be reeaally early tt day n i didnt want to b late (: ritchell huishi n me love to 潇洒走一回 together! i think sharon doesnt have e LD at home unlike e rest of us hahaa. n yayy hh was there so he took over most of e duets! rocks lehh. n tt was e highlight of my midsem break. as usual i had fun n forgot all abt my studies. AGAIN. haa.

and last monday was spent meeting up w some pp ive know for e longest time. my cck gang! (cck: choa chu kang） its great knowing i have frens who stay in such close proximity. i can call them out anytime in e wee hours to go to e nearby kopitiam for teh or supper. or just sit ard e void decks n talk kok all night long (:
unlike some pp who choose to stay allll e way in thomson/bugis/serangoon/bishan. ill have to take bus all e way there so impromptu supper is pretty impossible. haaiiiii. move nearer to cck leh u all hahaa (: i love e west woohooo~!
