Someone told me that everybody will always have at least 10% of the people they know who doesn't like them/hate them/can't stand them. so why doesn't this 10% or more people like them?i think most people are essentially nice and friendly to others. however, sometimes these people react because of a certain situation they're in or are just plain uncomfortable when they meet someone new. For e.g. If i'm troubled or angry at someone or just don't want to talk and i meet someone new, i may not seem as friendly as i would when i'm feeling better. therefore that "new" person may probably think i'm unfriendly, grouchy and a "not nice" person. But those who know me will probably say i'm fine just a little off that time/day.A perfect example would be that time during Arts camp. i admit i wasn't a good councillor then, if u asked any raiko freshies, they'll probably tell u that i'm always pissed off and grouchy during camp. But then that's not the me, and i'm sure they know that now. haha :)This probably applies to everything else that someone may think of another. Every single perception made is always subjected to the situation that person is in and to me, i don't believe in first impressions much. I prefer to give people time, benefit of doubt esp. at the beginnings and slowly form an impression of the person. Of course, at times i will just jump into conclusion and probably make a really bad mistake of the person's real character but thats just human error. All i'm saying is, time is a very important factor in getting to know a person. that is one important lesson that i keep getting taught but i find hard to control when excited. bah.ps: sometimes i think i'm a hypocrite and i think i am. i hate hypocrites. so should i hate myself?
