CMAD(combine martial arts display) JUDO @ UCC(university cultural centre) was really funny today! i had a damn good laugh backstage after our preformance!
let me show u what we planned to did and wat happened!
PlannedPart 1:1. euming and i will breakfall at the same time2. cheryl will crouch down at one end of the mat and i will jump over her and crouch beside her3.this will continue until connor jumps over 5 of us.4. we form a pyramid and euming jumps over (3 at the bottom, 2 on top and me at the highest)5. connor will jump over a chair and after jumping he will go the chair and sit6. euming jumps over connor sitting on the chairPart 2:Skit made up by euming to demonstrate judo throws to the audience :a couple (me and connor) will be quarreling outside their house. 3 guys will come up and ask what is happening and connor, pissed at being interrupted will throw them one by one. While he's throwing and in between the breaks of the throws, i will be scolding him like mad nonstop. according to wei cheng, its non-stop stage bantering. after a while, one of the guy will punch him and i will throw that guy coz he bullied my "husband" and ya we leave the stage after executing a few throws together.What happenedPart 1:1. euming and mine went on fine..2. cheryl didnt know when to stop at the mats to crouch so she ending up walking from one end of the stage to the other end of the stage looking damn blur with her hands put out in a awkward way--> audience laughed like mad3.when the 4 of us were crouching beside each other already in a straigt line, we had to adjust ourselves so that connor had space to land on the mat, so we move as we crouch and u can imagine what it look liked if u're the audience--> audience burst out laughing again4.the people below me arrange themselves such that their heads were facing the audience, naturally they would expect me to face them as well, but according to renjun she wanted to balance the slant, so my BUTT had to face the audience.. can u imagine me climbing with my back facing the audience and finally crouching with my BUTT at the top of the pyramid???--> audience laughed like mad AGAIN!!! at my butt's expense!5. after connor jumped over the chair, he went to sit on it and it was funny because out of the whole stage, thats all the audience saw.. him with a very serious face going to sit on a chair and doing NOTHING!--> audience laughter striked again!6. euming executed it prefectly.Part 2:they kept laughing at me scolding connor and may i add the UCC was tiny so everyone could hear what i was saying.... laughing at my expense! right till the time we(me and connor) exited coz after whole fight scene connor went," that takes care of them" and i went," ya and u STIlL BETTER BUY ME SUPPER!" coz i was scolding him abt coming back late, all that nonsense, not taking care of the house, i haven eat my dinner and there he is having fun with his khaki's outside till so late.all in all, i think the audience had a good laugh at our expense but thankfully, comic relief was our intention although we only wanted part 2 to be funny, turns out part 1 was funny too! if they ever uploaded that onto youtube, i think i can start wearing a mask to school. :D
