The Writes
Hey there, this entry has been delayed for the longest of time,i promised Elaine and Sharon that i'll blog on our Sunday outing..but..hehe..things got a lot of busy for me this week...full of ups and downs but to sum it up it was quite a nice week after all=)

Sunday-PPGs outing at Marina Square

i guess Elaine and Sharon has already blogged about that day so i just wanna add a little bit more stuff. After dinner, we headed down to Esplanade there for a walk. Over there,we found the shop that sold forest prints stuff (items that totally scream cute). Stayed there for a while and headed to the outdoors,along the river side. There was going to be a performance by a young and rising band called 'The Writes' which i tot it was 'The Rights'. Well it sounds the sounds the same but totally different meanings altogether. that aside, the lead singer could really sing. And you wonder why wont all these people just join Singapore Idol. I suppose joining a competition as a lone singer defeats the purpose of singing with a band..(i tink).
Aniwaes...the old man i just have to mention him=) During the third song that the band was performing there was this ah kong in his 70's who just started giving his own live performance!!!! He was soooooo cute. He kept gyrating,everybody were looking at him more than the band itself. Apparently,he danced too at the band's previous wk performance. must be n ardant fan or else....let's just say he's young at heart=)

Best day of the week!
Derek came to pick me up after work which i waited for like an hour cos there was a jam at my work place. There was an accident along the flyover near my place so it was basically packed with stagnant cars along the roads. Must be some body to anxious to meet their date bah. Went to newton to eat. my gosh,this was the most i ever ate with him! 5 dishes altogether!!!Even he surrender! It was a good choice to go there to eat instead of going to some expensive restaurants which are supposedly romantic. but i dont find anything romantic about sitting near to couples (oso celebrating vdae),eating at marked up sky high prices and ya..wat's so romantic. Aniwaes, i suppose being with that special someone is romantic enough wherever u are. ha!

After dinner, with our tummies filled to the brim,we headed to Marina south pier. There were many couples there too. FYI,only bus 402 goes there or else the only other mode of transport is going there by car. It was very pretty lit up place in the night. super nice lighting and stuff..Went up to the deck there and you could just look out at the bum boats,enjoy the sea breeze and look at the stars. definite must go place! Then ame the ultimate! Derek's surprise=) This is the most pain staking and nicest surprise he has ever given to me. haha..he totally made my Day!
He decorated his car boots with cotton wool (not the normal kind but those from the pillows), two purple plastic board with words and his gift for me in a very nice box. Darn,love making me dizzy (ok,pls dun puke)

Thur - Disaster Reign
Day where i cried twice. Super pissed at work. i am so happy i am going to end soon. Misunderstanding with my colleague over the ordering of some items. Sigh,totally communication breakdown lo. From the way my colleague talk to me about it, she seem to be putting the blame onto me lo. Darn,was so pissed i just went to the toilet n cried. This only makes me more repulsed against office job. Sighs...it actually very important that you got to like your job to stay in the job lo...It just didn't seem right that i am such an unhappy person compared to Derek who has only $11 in his bank account (he's officially broke till CNY comes). It just din seem right. Money din make me happy(mayb ALOT of money might make me happy), it made me miserable.

Today - Farewell and welcome lunch at Fish and Co
Went to Tampines Mall with my colleagues. It was supposedly last day for a temp staff who 's covering my colleague who's on maternity leave, my early farewell, and the colleague who's gg to come back after maternity leave. Had a coriander catch. I didnt find it as nice as fish and chips. Prob too healthy for my taste..haha.... Being the eve of Chinese new year eve, i had early release today at 3pm=) which i put to good use by meeting with who else. haha..
