today huishi gave me cool sweets. and she gave me 3 quarter more than wat i asked for haha. how sweet of her. literally. thankewwww for making me happy :)


i realise nobody else posts family photos here. but i cant help it! i love family photos. theyre always so heartwarming. my grandparents+uncles+aunties were showing me their photos frm last time, frm when they were staying in e kampong to when they moved to a hdb flat. my favouritest photo was e family photo of my grandparents and their children (my father and his siblings) ! they were so young den and all smiling so happily. little things like e timer of e camera could get them xcited. hahaha. i thought itll be nice to look back at such photos 30 yrs ltr and reminisce abt how ur family used to function :)

i really admire my grandparents: my grandfather for working so hard for e family, for his determination and curiousity in everything new. my grandmother for her creativity (she designed and made clothes for e whole family!) and her devotion to e family. my grandparents rock :)

my grandfather is convinced tt i would have loved e kampong+kelong life. and he says he wants to bring me to a kelong someday! yayy :)

sometimes i wish i was born earlier. when everything seemed simpler and more satisfying. where people had simpler dreams tt were more meaningful than successful.
but den again, i wouldnt be me if i was born den will i?
